Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pictoria ("the app"), operated by Codexia ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What Pictoria Does

Pictoria is an AI photo editor. You provide a photo together with a style from our library or an instruction you write yourself, and the app uses artificial intelligence to produce an edited image. The app is intended for creative and entertainment purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pictoria. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. AI Results Are Unpredictable

Images produced by Pictoria are generated by an AI model. You should understand and accept the following:

  • Results vary. The same photo and the same style can produce different images each time, and the output may not match what you imagined.
  • AI-generated images are not accurate depictions of reality. They may alter faces, bodies, objects, text, and backgrounds in ways that are inaccurate or unintended.
  • The AI may occasionally decline to process a request, or produce a result that is unusable. Credits consumed by a completed generation are not automatically refunded.
  • We do not guarantee that any particular style, feature, or result will be available at all times. The style library changes over time.

4. Your Photos & Your Responsibility

You are responsible for every photo you upload and every image you create. By using the app you confirm that:

  • You own the photo you upload, or you have permission from the people in it and from whoever holds the rights to it.
  • You will not upload photos of other people in order to create images that are misleading, defamatory, sexual, harassing, or that a reasonable person would find harmful.
  • You will not use the app to impersonate a real person, to fabricate an event that did not happen, or to create content intended to deceive others.
  • You are responsible for complying with the laws of your country regarding the images you create and share.

5. Credits, Subscriptions & Payments

Pictoria uses credits to meter image generation. Credits can be obtained by purchasing a credit pack or through a subscription.

  • Pricing is shown in the app before you purchase. Prices may vary by country and may change over time.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
  • Credits included with a subscription are refreshed each billing period and do not carry over. Credits bought as a one-time purchase do not expire while your installation remains active.
  • Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store's refund policy. We are not able to issue App Store refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, sexually explicit, involves minors in any sexualized way, or promotes violence or hatred.
  • Attempt to bypass credit metering, tamper with the app, or access our systems or other users' data without authorization.
  • Use automated means to submit requests at scale, or resell access to the app.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models or prompts.

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. As between you and us, you may use the images you generate for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and to the rights of any third parties depicted in or contributing to the source photo. We do not claim ownership of your photos or your results.

The app itself — including its name, design, style library, and software — remains our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Pictoria relies on third-party services to operate, including Google Gemini for AI processing, Google Firebase for infrastructure, RevenueCat for subscription management, and Apple for billing. Your use of the app is also subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for what each service processes.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result will meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for any loss of images or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or any part of it, at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
